Yes, Bad spelling makes you look lazy. Poor spelling creates a bad impression. It’s the first thing a reader notices. Develop an interest in words. Feel safe about trying new words. Spellings are key to good communication and also have a special appreciation. Spellings take a whole new look at the English language. English is a giant language. It's hard to count how many words are there, because some are variants of a single word, while others are no longer in use. So, there is a lot to learn how to spell correctly.
Tips for practicing spellings:
1. Book reading helps kids in building their vocabulary and spelling.
2. Try to ask your children for the new words come across in the book they are reading and try to explain the meaning and ask the children to construct sentences using the new words.
3. Categorize the words in the alphabetical order.
4. Ask the kids to divide the words into syllables and make them practice.
5. Word building activities helps the kids improving their spellings.
6. Use the spelling words to write sentences.
7. Unscramble the words and ask the kids to scramble them.
